1world program, Lacoste has called on influencers in the fields of design, fashion,


music and sneaker culture. The names of the forces involved? Jazzie B, Sébastien Tellier,


Stone Throw, Ato, Christophe Lemaire, Tim Hamilton, Sneaker Freaker, I-D, Shoes Master,


Bodega, D-Mop and colette. The result ? The program offers no less than 12 sneakers.


Why the number 12? It does not refer to the date of death of the founder of the brand


(an October 12) but the name of the famous Lacoste 12 12 shirt (worn by Renee Lacoste


in the late 20s).  The project Lacoste Legends 12 is ambitious. France is very well


represented with Colette, Sebastien Tellier and Christophe Lemaire. It’s not that I’m


chauvinistic, but I think it’s normal that, given the origins of the Lacoste brand,


France has a special place in this project. There is some very good (Lacoste Indiana


Ato Matsumoto, Lacoste ID Magazine) in this collection and some not so good (Lacoste


Sébastien Tellier). I think everyone will find something to their liking. You can find


the Lacoste 12 Legends collection this Sunday at Hanon and at Colette on Monday, December


13.

The Diadora N9000 celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. Collaborations with Raekwon


and 24 Kilates added weight to the event. The absence of Hanon Shop in the project disappointed the followers of the Italian brand.
